A group exhibition expressing Eckerd's connection to Creative Clay, whose mission is to make the arts accessible for every interested member of the community regardless of age, gender, ability, and/or race. Representations of the human figure form will be depicted in 2D and 3D renderings by Creative Clay member artists and Tampa Bay community artists, including Vai Alandikar, Jamieson Cash, Patrick Henry, Yoko Nogami, and Beth Reynolds.

The fine arts faculty at The University of Tampa will exhibit its work at an exhibition in the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery Sept. 5 through Oct. 18. There will be an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 5, from 7-9 p.m., which is free and open to the public. The exhibit will feature more than 30 major works created recently by the faculty, including photography, painting, sculpture, digital images, drawings, installations and mixed media. A hi-res image of a piece from the show is available upon request. At the end of the show, the gallery will hold its Annual Art Brunch on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. Reservations are required and tickets are $8 per person. The gallery is located at 310 N. Boulevard on the UT campus. Hours are from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1-4 p.m. Saturday.

Youth Arts Corps:  Art & the Environment   " Laundry Project" April 19th @ Williams Park, Downtown St. Petersbur

Student works from the Youth Arts Corps, Art & the Environment "Laundry Project" session!  Students painted their vision of "green" painting on sheets.  They will be hung from a clothes line in commemoration of the National Hanging Out Day.  Also the YAC booth at the Artist Market will be selling decorated clothes pins and other artifacts as Fund Raiser for the organization!
